One year after her younger brothers death, 28-year-old physiotherapist Nathalie still hasn’t visited his grave. Instead she tries to take care of everyone around her. But people including her brother’s friend Miro turn away from her and Nathalie is confronted with facing what she was running away from.

Following a mobile nurse through a particularly challenging day, Dignity Keeper tells the story of Esma against the backdrop of the precarious working conditions of our times.

Dignity Keeper was selected into the Program of International Film Festival in Hof and was broadcast on ARTE, SWR and shown on Film Festivals throughout Europe and the US.

After Jungmin is kicked off the baseball team, her friend on the sidelines draws her attention to the energy of Ajummas (a Korean term for middle-aged or older women). Jungmin repeatedly encounters these women in her everyday life. After observing them for a while, she decides to follow them and try to discover the secret of their energy.

With this film we want to empower those in our society, that are often overlooked, denied participation and freedom of speech.
